Randy Vite

Coach Vite enters her second year as the head coach of the SUNY New Paltz Women’s Lacrosse program in 2023. In her first season, Coach Vite guided the Hawks to just their second ever postseason appearance and coached three All-SUNYAC selections, including the program’s first ever, first-team recipient.

 

Prior coaching at New Paltz, Vite was the lead assistant coach at University of Chicago for four years, where she helped establish the first-year program in 2019. Prior to joining the UChicago women’s lacrosse staff, Vite spent two seasons as a graduate assistant at Aurora University where she earned her MBA after spending a season as the assistant coach at Colorado State University-Pueblo. During her two years in Colorado, she also served as an assistant coach at Pueblo West High School for a season, while working for Teach for America as a Special Education teacher at Risely Middle School International Academy of Innovation. 

 

After graduating from Monroe-Woodbury High School in 2009, Vite played four seasons at DII Kutztown University where she earned All-PSAC (Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference) honors and was named a PSAC Scholar Athlete. Vite was a team captain and as a defender was the all-time leader in ground balls (200) and games played (68), while ranking second in both caused turnovers (77) and games started (62), and sixth in career draw controls (55). She graduated from Kutztown in 2013 and earned her bachelor’s degree in education, majoring in both special education and elementary education with a concentration in math and science.  Coach Vite is the Co-Head Coach of the Metro Magic 2025 team.

Marisa Mahoney

Coach Marisa graduated from Suffern High School as an All-County, All-State and All-American.  She received a scholarship to the University of Delaware where she played all four years. She graduated in 1998 as one of the team’s leading scorers in goals and assists and earned honors as a 2nd Team All-American. During her Junior and Senior year at Delaware, the team won the American East Title, and Marisa received the team MVP award in the championship game. She has spent many summers coaching lacrosse camps and clinics. For over seven years, she coached Orangetown Girls youth lacrosse, finishing with an undefeated season. Currently, she runs the Pearl River Youth and High School Fall Clinic. She is also the 2025 New York Empire Hudson Valley Head Coach. Along with coaching, Marisa has been an educator since 1999. She currently is a Middle School Guidance Counselor in Ridgewood, N.J., and resides in Pearl River, NY with her husband and three children. This is Coach Marisa’s third year with Metro, she is the Co-Head coach of the Metro Magic 2025 team.
