Metro Foundation
What is it?
The Metro Lacrosse Foundation is a non profit organization formed in 2001 to financially support young ladies in the Metro Lacrosse program. It continues to provide opportunities for young women in a variety of ways. The Foundation uses funds to offset membership fees for selected, talented underclass players that have indicated financial need. In addition, the Foundation awards scholarships to seniors at the annual Metro Family Banquet.
Why donate?
There are many young ladies who are fortunate enough to participate in the Metro program. There are others with talent and ability that might not consider participating in the program due to financial restraints.
By making a contribution to the Metro Foundation, you can help give the Metro experience to more families.
How do we generate funds?
Currently, the Foundation is maintained in several ways:
- Sale of Metro clothing
- Individual family contributions
- Sale of Metro Family Banquet Tickets
- Hudson Valley Fall Fest proceeds
